MY RED BUFFOON

You burst my pretty red buffoon, you rained on my charade.
I planned to love you always and I would have if you'd stayed.
So lift on high the feathered flagon, toast new beginnings as we part.
Take the promises you made me and burn them on your flagstone heart.
Shattered like a crystal goblin, broken like a glass mirage,
I took the largest shining pieces and made a stunning life collage
